2 lt1 cam/ head new bests

James Eddy and Gary Lawson both had new best today

Gary with his 3700+ vert m6 (still) on radials and 7.5 rear ran a new best of 11.96@117.99 w/ a easy 1.85 60ft...

James recent (420 rwhp a4 )car posted a new best of 11.49@116 1.52 60 ft.. bouncing off the rev limiter seemed like a eternity between 2nd and 3rd...car is surely making power and the 7.25 1/8 is showing ...

videos will be up within a few days...

Okay, I have a couple questions:

Why cant you dyno your cars on the industry standard so most of us can compare other cars to yours? Lots of people seem to agree that, well, they tend to run kinda slowish for what power they seem to make and we'd all like to see what they make on something like a Dynojet. My car, with less power, full interior, no tune and a huge miss (http://s87601777.onlinehome.us/Green...BrokenDyno.jpg) still managed to go faster...On its very first trip to the track. I'm just trying to figure out how your cars dyno more and go slower, thats all.

Also, why do you always have to post your customer's new bests? I'm gonna guess its just me when I say that when you do that, it just seems that you're advertising your stuff without having to pay for it like everyone else.

Green simple they ask me to post them ...and thats great you ran faster...but when vids come up you wont feel so accomplished as you do at this moment...vid will tell alot..as far as dyno...as I said before I dont dyno in house..these guys dyno where they please i dont tell them to take it to x- dyno ... and i assure you i'm not advertising I'm proving a point... and its not over yet..the wave just started...

watch the VIDEO when its posted ,,not just James pass but also Gary's it will open alot of eyes... to why mph isnt what it should be... no excuses real world with your own eyes and ears...at any rate et's are dropping and they are going lower ..I take steps not leaps

Joe is not advertising his stuff. Thanks to some people on the board, the people that wanted one (myself included) of Joe's cams can no longer get one because he decided not to sell them anymore!!

Well, let me know when one of them is strapped down to a dynojet, or starts running what they would if they had that kind of power, cause I'd talk to you about a cam then. Like I said in another post of yours, I got all kinds of excuses with why my car only ran what it did. Its always funny to me when you post this stuff, theres never any timeslips or dynosheets....But you say there's video so I guess I'll wait to see it.

Guess I need to get my video's up too.....But since I cant do that yet, Here's my timeslips to tide over...

Local 1/8th...7.26, 95.8mph:

11.41 pass, first time to the track:

Man, drop it. There's a fine line to being skeptical and being an ***. There are many variables, altitude, density, suspension mods, track prep. EVERYTHING factors into a good run. That's fantastic your built 355 ran a 11.41 on it's first run. But as Joe's post says, wait until the video is posted and it will reveal the answer to your question I'm sure. Until then, lay off.

Fantastic built 355.....with a 200 dollar crankshaft. I hear ya buddy. Hows this for weather...it was cool, humid as **** and had a massive headwind. No one was hooking. And maybe try comparing trap speeds instead of ET's too.....Oh but thats right, mines a six speed and it will trap higher MPH, even if its trappin at 6400 rpm, where my car was only making 325 or so to the wheels....

I'm not being a skeptic, I'm asking legitamate questions since he's advertising his stuff. And I'm not saying they dont run well, just that they dont run as well as one would expect them to do, at least with as much power as they are said to have.

I just say dyno them on a dynojet and look at the mph, because its an easy way to compare the power he says he's making, that is all. Everyone knows ET wins races Dirk, Unless I tree ya!

Joe, I cant wait to see these cars run the 123-124 mph that they should be running when the excuses run out I know of a guy in NC that made a smidge over 400 to the wheels and went 118 mph on drag radials with a stock gear, but then again he had the almighty mph trap king 6 speed transmission. I guess since he was spinning too, he run at least 120 mph on slicks, right?

Anyways children, I'm goin to bed....
