1997 Firebird Formula Questions

Approx. what are the 0-60 times and the 1/4 mile times for a 6 Speed 97 firebird formula. Just bought it today and am eager to get it from the dealer next week. What will be the difference in speed from a 1991 Camaro RS 305 with 170 HP.

If thats what your used to driving (the 91) get ready for the ride of your life

0-60 in around 5 1/2 seconds?

And you can expect anywhere from high 13's to low 15's in the 1/4 depending on how you drive

Take your time, get used to the car, and have fun!!

congrats on the new toy!

The new car would beat your old one like a red-headed stepchild. Nice choice BTW...

These guys aren't kidding...

Coming from an '88 GTA hardtop with a slightly built 350 TPI to my 'stock' '96 T/A with t-tops definitely made me feel I'd wasted a lot of money on the GTA. As an added bonus - the 4th Gen body should feel a heck of a lot stiffer compared to what you're used to, which really surprised me (it still does as I put more miles on).

You'll like it, enjoy it!
