1996 Z28 timing

I have a 1996 Z28 115,000 miles basically stock. opti went out while Im there I'm putting a new timing chain set. Just to make sure and cover all my bases when putting the crank gear and cam gear on I put the cam gear at 12 and crank at 12 for TDC #1 and should be good to go?

Shoebox has a detailed cam install procedure. Scroll down to the timing chain section (install cam sprocket):

12 and 12 is fine, but easier to tell if they are lined up at 12 and 6. Either way works.
