Timing Marks 93 LT1

Hi, I just did a cam install and noticed the timing mark on the crank gear is at 12 oclock, the dowel pin in the cam timing gear is at 3 oclock and the timing mark on the cam gear should be at 6 oclock but the timing mark on the cam gear is off a little....Ive done a couple of cam installs on these LT1 Engines and the previous ones lined up perfect.....I used the Lunati timing set and am also wondering about the slackness of the chain....Please help....If you need any more info just let me know...Thanks

The slack in the chain could account for what you are seeing with alignment. It's not al that uncommon.
