Shoe, I just called Actron and they said NONE of their scanners worked with a '95. (I just bought another of their scanners because I couldn't find a 9145.) Are you sure this will work with our '95. I know tech support has been wrong before

According to the people that have posted they work, they do. The specs say it does OBD-I, too. People say they use the OBD-II cable it comes with and it works fine.

I wonder why the one I bought today (CP9575) wouldn't work.

Actron CP9575

Oh well. I've ordered the CP9145 thanks to RamAir's link. I'll take the other one back tomorrow.

Thanks Shoe.

In my (I'm-not-a-complete-dumb-***) defense -- after I posted I reviewed the specs on both and figured the little one was a "world traveler" but not a "time traveler".

For a good buy on an OBDI/OBDII scan tool, head over to Amazon and take a look at the Autoxray 6000. It's $290 and comes with the cable to use on a '95. It also has enhanced OBDII. Actron and Autoxray are owned by the same company, SPX.
