I am getting no spark and the fuel pump is not kicking on.

The computer was replaced after it shorted out the battery. The computer was full of water from the prom cover not being tight. Replaced computer with a new one. Still no spark or fuel. Tried connecting the laptop for pcm signal but no signal.

Any advice?

 

Did you check the PCM fuses?

 

yep first thing I did.

 

I had the pcm ign fuse not making contact before yet fuse was not blown. I had same symptoms fuel pump not kicking on and could not connect to pcm.(didnt check for spark) Might be worth double checking the 2 pcm fuses and even testing for power in the fuse box. Have you had it operating correct after changes?

Have you checked Fuse 8 (15A) marked "Courtesy" on the interior fuse block?
It is one of the power sources to the theft deterent system.

 

When you turn the key to run, do the dash warning lights come on for a few seconds to verify they are working?
