1994 z28 hollowed cat now won't start????

1994 z28 hollowed cat now won't start????

i/ve got a 94 z28 that the filtering comb was busted in the cat so i dropped the exhaust and just hollowed it out but when i lowered the car off the jacks the engine rotates but will not start any ideas?

Maybe some of the old comb's got stuck in your exhaust causing a clog

yeah i'm bout to drop the exhaust again to check and see, hopefully it's thats an easy fix like that.

When my cat started crumbling in my blue car, it got terribly clogged and ran like crap, but it never refused to start from it. Just my input.

ok i just checked and theres no clogs in the exhaust and it still will not start this sucks.

Start with the basics. Check your fuel pressure, spark, and fuses.

ok i pulle the plugs and they looked flooded and also wear black as tar so that should be it witing on battery to charge now from accesive hopes of cranking.

Is the security light on? (this should always be your first step since your sitting in the car looking at the dash already.)

honestly i've never seen the security light on my car put after hours of tinkering it's running i think the plugs were flooded, it's running great now.
