Is that actually good for the cAr or will it be just a junk intake?

Appears he tracked his problem down to a torn intake elbow - unfortunately he never took the time to tell us whether it solved the problem.

Is yours EXACTLY the same - loss of power and bogging at the specific RPM he mentions? Does your SES light come on intermittently? Have you checked or changed the spark plugs and wires?

Have you checked for a torn inlet elbow?

Come on dude Fred and the Chet1185 are trying to help you and give you the info you need to fix your issue,and your questioning about a junk elbow? Elbows will eventually get torn or mess up later. If you want the bogging to stop get it REPLACED!!!!!, Fred told you the torn elbow is the issue of what he wrote. If you are not gonna want to buy the elbow,then don't waste their time if they are giving you help
