1993 Code Scanner?

I didn't think they made one, but would this work?

http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku
or the part number is - 885-CP9001.

Looks like a useful tool for us 93 Guys.

You don't need a scanner on a 93. You short 2 ALDL pins and the SES light flashes the codes. The $30 scanner you linked is essentially a 2-cent paperclip in a plastic box, that shorts the pins.

Is there a reference for the codes anywhere?

So I found this for a reference:
http://www.troublecodes.net/GM/

But I don't understand how to read the codes, like a flash-pause-flash-flash is a 12, well what does a 13 flash? And so on.

Edit-Figured it out, thanks.

Generally the best place to start is on Shoebox's website. His code list is SPECIFIC to the F-Body LT1, unlike the link you posted:

http://shbox.com/1/Dtcs.htm

Just a suggestion.... but PLEASE don't delete threads just because you got your answer. Part of the value lies in the ability of others to find this info with a "search" in the future. Deleting it also makes the efforts of those who tried to help you appear wasted.

Again, its your thread, and if you feel it needs to be deleted, its your call.

Sorry, I just delete simple questions because I feel they have probably been asked before (and I'm just too stupid to find them in Searches) and don't want to make older members mad.

But I see where you are coming from, so I'll stop it.
