160 thermo
160 thermo
If i have a 160 thermostat would that keep the heater from getting very warm? or should it still get hot inside? New car to me and has a 160 thermo i believe plus fan mod. Temp guage only gets about a 1/4 of the way up.
I also do not currently have a headliner so that may be hurting as well lol, but it just doesn't really get warm i can drive down the highway and it will be cool inside, maybe i need to flush the heater core
The problem is you have a 93, and the 93 coolant temp gauges are mis-marked, making you think its running cooler than it really is:

With a 160*F t'stat and reprogrammed fan on/off temps, I had no problem with the heat in my 94, in NJ weather that can get as low as 0*F. You may have a bit of sludge in the heater core. Try flushing it out.
