16 inch or 17 inch wheels???

Guys some of you know I was thinking of getting some 17 inch WS6 wheels...well I talked to one of you for a while the other day who said to go 16's...what are the pro's and con's and why would you choose one over the other? I'll either get the WS6 wheels or get the standard 16 5 spokes (which I absolutely love)...right now the weight of the 16's means I'll save a little on gas mileage and tire prices as well....what do ya'll think...

If your going for looks get the 17s. they will give you better handling on corners too. As for 16 you have more tire flex which is better for drag racing but the handling is not as good. i have 17 and as lomg as you have nittos its all good.

I don't have nittos, just using it for my daily driver too and from school and the occassional mustang whippen...I'm thinking if I go to 17's I'll put a strut tower brace and subframes to increase rigidity a little and keep my handling up...

go with 17's the looks alone should be enough, and they handle the road better

plus with the 17's I believe you can fit a 275 which does look pretty mean, with the 16 inch I think the max you can go is like 255 which isn't quite as mean
