some camaros get close to mid 13's with intake/exhaust, so it would have to be pretty damned hot outside for that to be a good time. What's your 60 ft? it should be fairly low w/ those tires

I ran a 13.6@102 with CAI, ypipe, catback, PCM tune, and 3.73s.
Weather makes a big difference.

Heat is definitely a huge factor in how LT1's run. Last summer I ran three straight 13.6's at 101.5 to 102 mph. It was really cool out, nighttime and perfect conditions. A few weekends ago I went again, but on a Saturday around 1 in the afternoon, freaking 95 degrees out and my car was running at like 240 degrees. It really sucked. My best was a 14.0 at 97.5 and a worst of 14.2 at 96. I'm definitely waiting till it's cool out to go again. Quote "What's your 60 ft? it should be fairly low w/ those tires?" I almost guarantee you'll drop a tenth or two with some decent drag radials. Also not all automatics have 273's.

I pulled a 13.7 with a nitto and an CAI, not even exhaust and it was 70 degrees out, so I think u should be able to get a lot more out of that car and mine is auto

I think thats very slow time...was it really hot/humid outside? and did your 60ft really suck? Stock auto verts run faster than that...and that trap is def not close.

even if his 60' foot sucked, the mph would still be there. i dont think your car is running right.

Mine ran a 13.5@100 on a cool afternoon...auto, 3.73, eibach springs, bmr relocation brackets, drag radials (274/40 17), bmr panhard rod, cai, and loudmouth catback with a 2.0x short time.

I second that. I ran 14.09@99 bone stock with a 2.2 60' on BFG G-force KDWSs. On a slipping clutch I ran 13.80@103.7 with a 2.16 60' on my Drag Radials with CAI, pulleys, catback, TB bypass, and LCAs. It was probably ~60* out.

Hmm...well my 93 Z28 automatic went a best of 13.7@103.3mph bone stock, and i got it down to 13.2@107.5 with simple bolt ons on the stock torque converter and street tires, that run was on a 2.143 60ft. A lot of it has to do with weather and how the track is prepped, but i would be a little dissatisfied with that time, i would be hoping for at least a 13.6-13.7. And i think you should be seeing at least 101-103mph traps. But some cars dont respond too as well to mods as others, just an incentive to do more mods. Get yourself some gears and a torque converter and youll be ripping up the 1/4 mile track! Good luck bro

revtime hit it on the head. I don't know the altitude at rt 66, but that can play too. People really should list their time and corrected time for effective elevation. You can only claim your real time on your slip, but for purposes of comparison adjusted times are appropriate. With the weather correction (somewhat cool but very humid added 1000' effective elevation) my best time becomes a 13.16 and i'll use that when i got back and get a new time with headers and compare them.

Your time sounds decent with your description of conditions and mods, or lack there off

edit* weights are also very helpfull. I'm not sure what i'm at but i don't have any reduction other than pulling the spare tire.
