@.020 its 286-296

only way to get it at 0 is to profile the cam that I know of
What's your CID,rod length, piston type and relief volume, 2 or 4 eyebrow, head CC's,piston in hole depth, and I will run it at .020 if that is there adv numbers.Give me the IVC point at .020 also and I will compare.

Re: is 11.5:1 to much compression for 91

i am in a similar situation right now, building a 355. i want to get a real big cam (weekend car) and my cam guy is telling me i can easily run 11.5 to 1 or 11.8 to 1 on pump gas? i talked to combination motorsports, a speed shop, and my machine guy and they said u need to stay below 11 : 1 compression for pump gas, but at the same time, i KNOW people running up to 12:1 just fine on pump gas...but his car did blow up, lol. anyways, i'm stuck with buying a smaller cam to accomidate my 10.6:1 compression setup. i'd call a FEW machine shops and ask them, they build that sh it every day ya know. good luck.!

Larry,

You think you can run 11.5:1-12:1 on a 355 with a IVC of 74-75?

Obviously I don't know much about that.

Your static is 11.958
Your dynamic is 9.046
That is the max with 92 octane.Ya gonna need a good tune and cooling to run this on the street or 110 VP fuel.

9.0 and if you are brave and the motor is built for it then 9.5 is the max on 92 octane. Don't go that high if you have not designed the engine for it or it will rattle its *** off and you will have to pull so much timing it won't run.
This is with a LARGE radiator, Evans and all the tricks pulled out of the hat.
