I bought my 94 firehawk in feb of 94 it has 152k on it. Buy a car is not a good investment. I you buy a car looking to sell it and compare what you got it for to what it is worth you will never enjoy it. I have not regrets about my firehawk I paid 28k for it new and may be I could 10k for it. I bought my 02 z06 used in march of 03 probbaly could have sold it for profit that march or april. but now I would take one hell of a beating if i sold it. You should pay for a car what it is worth to you and enjoy it for what it is. If you are looking for a good investment don't spend you money on a car.

 

I bought my 93 this past september to replace my stolen 944S2. I got tired of overpriced parts like $200 wire sets, or $65 distributor caps. The Z28 has a lot of performance, but, like the ad says, there is no substitute.

My car was in showroom condition, really babied by the PO. I probably overpaid for the car but it was too clean to pass up, had a manual, and didnt have T tops to squeak and leak. Just the way I wanted it. I sold the chrome 17" rims to tone down the look of the car, and neutralize the handling.

I think it was 11 years ago this month, not 10 years ago. The fourth generation was featured in the January 1993 Road & Track. Also tested that month was the Legend Coupe. Now that was a sweet car I regret selling!

 

I bought mine new in June 94. It been my daily driver since then.

 

I remember when the 4th Gen came out--I knew I had to have one! So I waited around until the verts were made. Finally, in 95 they came out and I was able to order one. Up to this year she's been my daily ride. Now that she has 80K on her I'm going to throw 5k in her and "wake the old girl up" . I don't think I'll ever get rid of her!!
