im hoping to see 10 myself soon. im running a 383, le2 heads, something similar to an le4 cam, and too many supporting mods to list. i havent run the car yet, maby this weekend. i think if i slap on some slicks and skinnies, drag shocks, and put it on a slight diet, and im predicting 10s. i really hope. or im selling the car and getting a honda! ( just kidding, i would never do such a thing!)

so should i see a 10 with my 355, stock heads with stainless valves and a 5 angle valve job, gm 503 cam, almost all the bolt ons, 3.73 gears, subframes, MT 11.5 ET streets on the salad shooters, 15x4 weld draglites up front, vig 3600, and a 300 shot?

you sure better have some danged nice internals in that for a 300shot, and some better flowing heads and a good fuel system. I'd say you could probably get close off of it

A 100 shot would probably do it with all of that. As an earlier post stated 120to 121 will net a 10 sec time. It's all in the 60 ft.

I'm gonna try to crack those 10's with a full interior, except maybe the back seats. I want to only take out enough weight to compensate for the cage going in soon.
Man, you are really getting close. Work on that 60 ft and get it into the 1.45 range. That's an 11.15 for ya - or better.

I know I won't see 10's, but I'm hoping to mid 11's out of a street 396 m6 combo running a 4:10 12 bolt.
CNC ported stock heads with 2.00/1.55 valves and a hyd roller a little smaller than Chrism400's solid.
Chassis is all BMR components: SFC's, LCA's, torque arm and trans mount, sway bars, and panhard bars. Tires are 17" 315 DR's.
Car is a full weight hardtop and it dyno'd 385hp/375ft.lbs on a Mustang HD.
Do you guys think that will be enough to meet my goal?

not yet i bought a house so its going slow need a few things left but with the heads messed up before lloyd fixed them and a cc306 untuned i went 11.70's @ 118 mph with a 2.6 60 ft had fuel problems wanted to die. so with the added le3's and this huge solid roller i doubt it wont scrub off more than 7 tenths lol plus i lost 400 lbs of weight off the car and stepped up to 4.30's from 3.42's

i think rear end and suspension are the most important!!! i have a built car that puts down 450 n/a to the wheels and the best i could pick up was a 12.5 due to the spinning of my drag radials.
