You don't need a "cage" to run in the 10's, at least not in NHRA, only a 5-point roll bar. Certified cage is required below 10.00.

A "6 point" is still not a "cage", its a roll bar.

Where you running at? You're only about 30 minutes from me.If you run OC I've probably seen your car. What color is it and next time, I'll swing over and say hi.

Hey were you at OC last night with a black 4th gen with little cowl hood? If so I did say hi as I walked right past ya. If that was you, you row those gears pretty good

Who cares, you will when you see the difference in price. That and a few other things to run lower than 11.50.

IF, you can TIG weld, you can get a 10 point from Spohn or S&W racecars for $599 and those are the chromoly cages. The 6 point is about 1/2 of that but if you get Chromoly, you WILL need to TIG weld it.
I recently tore my dash out to delete my A/C. It was not fun, especially doing it by myself. The 6 point won't go thru the dash but the 10 point will. Good luck!! and nice time runs
