First off I'm planning on keeping my heads stock for now.

Is anyone running 1.7 NSA's with the XE 224/230 or maybe even just the hotcam? What sort of numbers are you putting down? What sort of springs are you using?

I know a guy on the corvette forums picket up something like 17 RWHP by moving from the LT4 Hotcam Kit rockers to the 1.7's. He was running ported heads though too.

I don't think anyone has done a set on the 224/230. I was trying, but needed a new shortblock and went with a Custom Joe O cam instead this time around.

 

yeah i have a buddy trying to sell me his Joe O. LE1 cam but i dont have the cash for it right now...a .110 lsa would be nice though

 

I considered it and am still considering it (this or a cam swap). I read about the guy with the Corvette doing the swap, I would change right now if I thought I could get that gain.

Also does your buddy still have the Joe O cam, I talked to him about it.
