1.6rr's and 1.5rr's?

Ok, just out of curiosity, whats the difference between going with a complete set of 1.6rr's as compared to a split of (8)1.5's and (8)1.6rr's? Does it depend on application and which is better for more power?

I read a article in Hot Rod that showed that putting 1.5 on the intake and 1.6 on the exhaust actually made more hp on a nitrous motor than 1.6 on both.
I do not remember all the engine specs.

I read that too, but for the generally poor flowing exhaust characteristics of LT1s, you'll get more power out of a 1.6 set up than a split 1.6/1.5.

I would venture to say that alot of it is going to have to do with application. If an aftermarket cam or forced induction were in the picture, then I could see having different rocker ratios. However, if you are just using the rockers as a standalone bolt-on mod, I would just do a straight set of 1.6s.

what about a full bolt-on with a cc503 , just use all 1.6's?

Just go with the straight set of 1.6s, that is what everyone else is doing and they are working fine.
