I'm doing something similar except on an impala that has a smaller cam
lol. Anyways, I'm thinking I'll just pick up some power from the long tubes I'm putting on, that tad bit of compression added, well more like 1 point
and some power from the good valve job to introduce more airflow at mid lift, also the roller rockers to free up some power. I'm not expecting much from the port job itself except maybe 10 horse since I belive the cam just doesn't need all that extra flow really, but mid range should definetly help.
I do know however that if I ever do go with a bigger cam I'll see those extra gains, the heads were nicely ported by LLoyd for the Impala.

There's another thread in this section where someone got a set of LE heads and 1.6s and picked up ~35rwhp on the stock tune. Stock cam and automatic too. I think your tune might need to be looked at before you do anything else.

Let bryan redo the computer and maybe you might find something else wrong with it.
Maybe when the AFR's come back inline it will pick back up.. what was the temp difference between the two dyno days and was it on different dynos?

Almost everyone with 1.6s and a stock cam seems to pick up about
10-15 rwhp. You should verify your lash and give it another go with
the right tune.
It figures that once I sold the 235-Ds I would be back to the drawing
board with springs. It will be really funny if I end up buying another set
of 235-Ds.

the porting was done by a professional, my friend mark who works as a mechanic and buils fox body race cars (yea i know the dark side) so i have no doubt about the port job, bryan sent us a new tune so we will see tonight
