I have a chance to get a good set of self aligning 1.6 RR for $30. What will I need to put them in my 95 Lt-1? Just the valve gasket?? I've been told they should fit under the stock covers. I don't think I should have any clearence issue ie; valve/piston, but I just wanted to ask here before I put them in the car. Any guesses as to how much rwhp I could get?

 

Might consider stronger springs. JMHO

Increased HP based on free-flowing exhaust, CAI, etc.

Wouldn't expect much increase with just higher lift.

 

What Bubba said...while you're in there, you might as well do the springs too. I've seen quite a few sets get pretty worn out around 80-90K miles. Peace of mind is a good thing.
