Lt1's never came with rr's, so if he is finding roller rockers they are not stock replacements. Try summitracing.com or jegs even.

I bought mine from one of the supporting vendors on here, Custom SSI, they cut me a very competitive deal.

Yeah, they are a pretty good mod and can add up to 10 horsepower at the wheels. Your friend may also want to consider upgrading his valve springs as well.

Do I need new springs if I want to do a 1.6rr install? I am planning on getting a LE1 or 2 set-up within the next 6 months and that will have new springs so if springs are not necessary I don't wanna buy em. I was thinking about Crane non self-aligning 1.6 rr with GMPP guideplates and ARP studs. Don't mean to hi-jack the thread.

That sucks. That seems like a waste of money since I will be getting new springs in the heads I am getting.

So just wait and do the 1.6 RR's when you do the heads.

LT4 springs cost like 35 bucks threw a dealer but they are somewhat of a pain to swap for only a few months worth of use. So like stated above, your best bet might be to hold out.

I'm running GMPP 1.6 rr with stock LT1 springs... 2 years, no problems.
