can my stock springs take it if i add 1.6 rockers and no cam???

 

Time would tell, but most likely no. It's best to change them also.

I personally wouldn't drive with stock springs with 1.6rrs

 

The stock springs will bind with 1.6 rockers. Or at least they're so close to bind that its not worth taking the chance IMO.

 

The LT4 springs are a good choice and will accomidate .525" valve lift and are very cheep. Also, the 1.6 RRs will add about .031" lift at the valve and add some HP!

 

Ive been running them on my stock springs, but the rockers are going to be sold, b/c im getting the h/c this winter, and Im going to run some NSA Pro mags. Ive had em on for maybe 4 months or so, no problems, but I only did it to see what I could get, and I think I might be giving up some highend with the stock springs.
