Talking Which 1.6 rockers are the best?

Which 1.6 rockers are the best and easiest to install. I am wanting self aligning, cuz i really dont want to mess with guideplates. I have heard of the pro mags, crane golds, and lt4 gm style. Which should I go with? Thanks, Michael

I recently researched the same topic and I found that the Comp Cams ProMagnum RR's would work best for me. I ordered mine from www.cmotorsports.com They had the cheapest price that I found and they are always easy to deal with.

Best? Something not Aluminum, like Comp's Hi-Tech Stainless rockers. Those are awful spendy for a normal stud mount rocker however, so most people go with the Pro-Magnum rockers, which are still a killer deal.

If you're doing it, you might as well do it "right" though - non self aligning. Might as well buy 7/16" studs too... valvetrain deflection is a bad thing .

Not to be too much of a *****, but I've got a new/unused set of 1305-16 1.6 Pro-Mag's I don't need anymore. Will sell them for $230 if anyone wants them.

Are those for a 3/8" or a 7/16" stud, non or self-aligning?

The 1305's are a NSA rocker for a 7/16" stud .

Fire an email my way if you're interested.

Thx,
