^^^ FRICKIN AWESOME!!!!! I'm jealous. If I could find a similar block for reasonable it would swing my decision back to the LTx engine!!! All the the work to get a stock block to that point is the biggest turn off when the LSx is so cheap by comparison.....

I agree. Awesome. IMO if you want insane horsepower anyone can strap a blower to an engine. It impresses me more if you do it NA.

Wasn't he the one that built Jimlab's 396? Didn't everything go bad with Mark as well?

BTW, I've read all those articles relating to those 421ci LT1's that were built and they had to have a crazy amount of block work done. But from what I understand they were very well built. Can't remember where I found the article online, some corvette mag, and this guy was spinning the 421 over 7000 rpm!

May have, not sure. Jimlabs motor was sweet. MTI in Houston built a couple big cube LT1s back in the day, one I remember was a "409" for an Impala SS.

Normally I would agree, but I've been there and done that, so this time it's going to be blown. Learning something new every day.

Yes. Somewhere I have detailed build sheets for one of the combos - he was looking for some tuning info because he wanted to use the same MoTeC ECU that I have. he did both 4.090" bore x 4.000" stroke, and a 4.030" bore x 4.125" stroke.

I don't know how well they ran or how long they lasted. He just sort of disappeared.
