Re: ~^~^~I need Major Help!!! ~^~^~
PCV = Positive Crankcase Ventilation, should be about $3 at your local autozone. should be located over near the oil filters. go to autozone.com, after you enter what kind of motor you have, go to external engine and you'll find it listed in alphabetical order.
I'm assuming you have a 3.8 so I can't really help you w/ location or anything, but pull the PCV off the motor (while it's not running), once it's out, shake it up and down to see if you hear any rattling, if not, it is definitely time to replace it. It's cheap enough to replace it anyway if not. Usually replace them while doing a tuneup.
Sounds like you are near the end of the life of your motor. When you start getting enough blowby to pop the dipstick out of the tube it means to start saving for a rebuild. The rings are not sealing very well and allowing a lot of the combustion, that should be getting pushed out to the exhaust, into the motor, which builds pressure, which will pop out the dipstick if you don't have enough ventilation. My brother's jeep was the same way, it started pumping oil up the dipstick tube, onto the starter, shorted the solenoid and started a engine bay fire.
Just doing a oil change wouldn't bring this up, you just may have started to notice it more.. unless they used the wrong weight motor oil. Do you have documentation on whoever did the oil change, did they use 5w-30?
Are you getting smoke out the tailpipes while idling or just starting to take off?
