Its not too late to switch too long tubes heheh.

Besides the shorties are coming off anyways.

Take some pics of them, post them in the for sale section, and get PS long tubes.

If you think our cars are hard to work on, you haven't touched a modular yet

Yeah, I had a 99 GT that was a 35th anniversary edition. It was sweet until a tree won a battle of wills one night. Anyways, the GT was waaaay slower and I DID have long tubes on it, but it was a HUGE pain in the rear.

Exactly what I would say.

With these cars, just have to be creative on how you do things I have figured out. And most of the time the right tools are the only thing you really need.

They are kind of a pain to get in, but definitely possible once you remove enough stuff.

Re: @#$ Darn these cars

You will find that changing plugs on these cars is easy if you will just make a proper plug socket. Buy yourself a standard spark plug socket with the 3/4" hex at the end. Cut the socket so that it's about 1" overall thickness but is still long enough to engage the spark plug. Drill the 3/8" socket drive out so that a plug will go all the way through.

If you can get your finger on the plug, you can get this over it. Use a stubby 3/4" wrench on the socket and you will be able to change plugs on any vehicle, no matter how tight.

Yeah, that's what I use. I got one for $7 on EBAY and it made doing plugs much easier.

Long tubes make them al a breeze except number 2 and 4.

These become simple once you get the right combonation of extensions and thin walled sockets

Re: @#$ Darn these cars

SLP headers have some of the worst plug access... I used to run the 94-95 style on my car will never do that again! Hooker LTs are considerably easier to work around.
