*Update* Blue Stripe Bee Hive Springs

I emailed Com Cams regarding the springs and they replied saying they will replace them. I just sent them my address today, so hopefully I will have them soon. Thanks to everyone for all of your help.

It's looks as if I spoke too soon. I replied to Comp's response to my initial request and have yet to hear back from them. I'm hoping it's because of the holidays. Tomorrow I will send another email and see if I can get a reply. Wish me luck.

I'm upgrading from the Comp 918s to PAC-1518s w/ titanium retainers. Then the 918s become a complete "non-issue" for me.

Great, I just broke an ex-612 spring over the summer, got everything fixed and put it back together with the comp 918 bee hives

I had no idea there was even a problem.

19 December I received an email from Comp saying I should receive my order "tomorrow." Didn't receive anything on the 20th or the 21st. Sent another email late 21 Dec asking for an update. Finally received an email from Comp today - quote:
Michael-
Sorry it has taken me a few days to get back to you. We are currently out of stock on the springs. It will be a month before we get any in. Your order has been processed and as soon as they come in we will have them shipped out to you. If you have any questions, please let me know.

Thanks
Nicki

quote now this is holding me up from finishing my build. Maybe I should buy some and when I get these try to sell them.

does anyone know if comp is only replacing the springs that were already broken or will they replace the springs that are in the "affected batch numbers" listed in the ls1 fourum. i have a set that are not broken but have the affected batch number. they only have about 3k miles on them, i was going to reuse in my new setup and was wondering if they would replace them or do i have to buy the new ones.

They'll repace any in an affected batch number. They overnighted me a set to replace some i had on a 434 that had never been run.

Now I just have to find time to replace valve springs that have never been run .
