I found someone on eBay selling a set of LT1 heads for a decent price, and he sent me a couple pictures. From these pics, is anyone able to tell if they look to be in good shape or not? I know they aren't detail pics, but any input would be helpful.

 

You really can't tell anything from these pictures,
what you need a close up is the chambers to examine them to see if there are any cracks visible in the chambers, also look over the intake and exhaust ports to see if they are steamed clean from cracks into the waterjacketsm, or to tell if it had a blown head gasket etc.

It would be ideal if you could see the port side of each guid to make sure there are no cracks etc around there. If the heads look ecent though machine work can fix surface imperfections and guide clearance etc.
