$30,000 dollars!!! What should I do???
....excellent advice folks. And I thought that everyone on this site would be fool hardy car guys. Little did I know... And the good news is that you guys have convinced me to NOT blow it all foolishly... Thank You
I'm really glad that I asked you guys/gals your opinion... Bill...

Invest on a nice big garage with a small studio attached to it, so you'll have a place to live. You'll have a good monthly income with a full time job to afford a payment on a Z06. That's style!
...I think one thing I'll do for sure is put nitrous on my car. I had it on a car once before and LOVED it, I just got 'carried away' with the Jet size! You know, "gee whiz, so its THAT easy to get another 50 Horse power"? Anyway a week ago if I blew my car up I'd be walking, but not now..... xxx
I'll gladly accept $5k of it.
Invest it in something. I'd honestly maybe spend $5-10k of it on some goods and invest the rest to profit from it. Nothing better than having free money and making more money off it.
Offer still stands for giving me $5k of it.

I'd save the money, but it sounds like money burns a hole in your pocket. If you love to spend, go invest it.
Personally, when I get money, I just save it. I HATE to spend money, even if it's $5 at Arby's......but because of that, I've (I should say WE've) also been able to buy nice things, like a 1994 B4C Camaro (in 1996- my money), a 2002 Volkswagen GTI (2002-my money), a newly constructed house (2002- our money), have the house totally furnished with all brand new furniture within 3 months (our money), a 51in Sony big-screen, Bose surround sound, new stereo (our money), 100+ DVDs, 1000 CDs (over time- the DVDs are ALL mine, cds are both), and have also been able to get my Camaro fixed up (my money). However, I did need a new transmission in the Camaro (taken care of- my money).
I don't even make that much money, but I make it stretch. In this day and age, $65,000-$70,000 per year isn't all that much. However, her hefty salary helps a great deal.
By the way, we're going on a Carribean cruise this summer, hitting Vegas in March, and hitting Florida in October.
Save your money, spend/invest wisely, and you can live "the good life."

Heres what i would do, take the 30g's and invest it to so you could make more money, use it wisely and invest wisely. Now for the 2g's a month or how much ever it was, i would use that for toys. Thats plenty to pay a couple of payments and insurance and still have money left over. IF it was me, i would by some type of sport bike, a used bass boat, jet ski, 4 wheeler, dirtbike, and maybe buy a zo6, or just a z06 with a twin turbo kit without the other toys. That is if it was me, but things might change. It can be so easy to just go blow it on whatever you see that you want, but it is very important to spend it wisely if you are like me and have to work hard to get everything you want. It also helps to know alot of people, thats one way i can get some really good deals on things.
