That doesn't work on 94 cars. Ask me how I know.

I plan on doing most everything myself. That's why i was just hoping the engine and transmission were strong. All i know about transmissions is that they are expensive as hell to fix. It would be a project car, but at the same time if the transmission went bad, it would be sitting for a long time before i could afford a fix. I'm thinking of taking it into the Pontiac dealership and having them look over everything. I don't know, im still undecided.

The tranny should not be that expensive to fix (if it even has anything wrong with it). You should call Bradley transmission and see how much a stock rebuild would cost. They did great for me (but it wasn't a "stock rebuild"). Or, you could find a used tranny, they are for sale on here a lot.

Cool

I've heard or read somewhere that if the little rubber nipple inside the trans has fallen off,or put in backwards,,it can cause some shifting problems.Might ask the trans guys section on this one.Sounds like a simple fix.(don't go to Ammco.,they told my dad he needed a new trans, but my dad went down the street to another trans place, and all that was wrong was a rubber vacuum tube that had to be replaced.$10.00) His car wouldn't shift into 3rd gear till he went 70mph.)Hope this helps.(I would buy the car).My02
