Z06 PCM in a 99Z28?

Has anyone thought of putting a Z06 PCM in a Z? Same engine and everything right? Looking for ideas on this one.

First question, why?

Same engine? No. Different heads/cam, engine layout (modify the wire harness) valvetrain (rev limit) MAF and horsepower.

Again, why.

I second that.

Unless you want to turn your car completely into a zo6 there would be no point. ls1 edit you can tune your car for whatever you have done.

Now that i think about it even if you did put ALL zo6 components inyour car you could just tune your stock PCM to be a (or act like) a zo6 pcm

basically..... No point

There's really nothing to be gained.

Guys who have dropped the LS6 in their f bodys said it did fine w/ the ls1 pcm and tune. Either way, your money would be better spent on ls1 edit or other mods if you're looking to go faster.
