scroll down a little
you should have swapped out the motor mounts to poly when you had the manifolds off. it makes it a very easy job with nothing in the way.
my engine barely moves 1/4" now when reved up, my ypipe is about 3/8" from my frame and i've never hit since i installed the poly mounts.
i havn't heard anything about these brackets yet...so take that as you will.

Thunder Racing makes a "Bump Stop" hanger. Hope this site works for ya, if not just go into the F-bod Exhaust Accessories section. http://www.thunderracing.com/catalog...&vid=3&pcid=54

I would think so. I just re-checked the Thunder racing site, that Bump-stop hanger is a Mufflex brand. But it dosen't specify the O.D. size. You could probably just buy a 3" band clamp and weld one up yourself. Measure and cut up some old hanger parts.

I'll be having my Pacesetters and TSP catted-y installed on my '98Z next month and I am concerned about the banging and knocking. Do you think this bracket really works and is worth it? Or the poly. motor mounts?
