unless i'm just stupid (which is possible), i don't see an egr plug placement on the top of the intake manifold...on an ls1 manifold, isn' there the egr right behind where the throttle body attaches to the intake?

so shouldn't that be an ls6 intake?

No, on a corvette LS1 manifold there will be no whole for the egr tube, because C5's didnt have an egr setup. Only the fbody LS1 had egr, and that was only from 98-00.

It sounds like it's off of a new crate replacement 98 model year motor.
That would make it a non-egr LS1 intake.
