They check for cats here in texas too, you just have to know the right inspector, try smaller towns.

 

no mufflers here either. I had dynomax mufflers that looked like a couple of fart cans at the back of my car, so I took em off and dropped about 75 pounds too!

They still have inspections in your state? Hey did you have the muffler removed and the dynomax bullet muffler put in front of the rear axle? Unless you had a true dual system you didn't need two mufflers. I assume you put two cuz you said "couple of fart cans".

 

I bought the car used, and the guys put a a true dual system on yah, and he had the mufflers after the axle at the very back of the car with 4 inch tips welded to them. Yes TX still has inspection, but the mufflers have flanges welded on, so all I have to do is bolt them right back on before inspection. I currently have no tips at the back of my car so I am going to have someone weld some to a pipe with a flange so I can bolt them on.
