will fipk work well with ss hood???
The fipk is basically a huge filter that sits in front of the car right? If you had an ss hood, with air flowing through the grill in front, wouldn't you be bringing in a lot more airflow?
If you are going to spend the money for a fipk, then I would suggest the Volant intake instead. The K&N fipk stays open to the engine bay and would possibly pull in hot air from under the hood. THe Volant is "sealed" ( debatable, but its not completely open to the engine bay ) and would only allow air from the scoop.
