Where is the hole in the firewall?

I have read about a hole that is somewhere behind the PCM but I can't find it. Do I have to remove the entire PCM?
Thanks

Dustin

Yes, remove the PCM and you will see it just below. There is a grommet with wires passing through.

I was able to get to the hole without removing the PCM, all I had to do was take out the two screws/bolts that's holding the PCM in place and have someone hold it to the side. I was able to feed a wire through there from the inside and grab it in the engine compartment area quite easily.

It helps to use a flashlight, it's a little black circle maybe 4" in diameter.

I ran so much wire, I had to take it out. I have 3 gages in the pillar, nitrous switches etc. Made it a lot easier for me.

I removed that garmnet also. I fit a nitrous line threw there, an 8 gauge wire amongst a lot of other wires.

I hope you did not mean grommet. If you did, get one in there. You WILL chafe through the wires eventually, and then you are in trouble when they spark and light up the NO2 line.....

Yeah, you dont have to take out the PCM. There is plenty of room, especially if you are just running a power cable for your system or whatever.

just cut a large slit in the center, or remove the center of the grommet. Leave the outer ring. Once your wires are run, glob some silicone in there to keep any water (and bugs and leaves) from getting inside and to keep the wires from moving back and forth. This will help avoid chaffing.
