Where to get mods done

I am looking to get a couple of mods done to my new Z28 and was wondering if anyone had recommendations for a shop. I live in Southern California in South Orange County (near Lake Forest/Irvine).

I am looking to replace the POS stock shifter. I am also thinking about replacing the stock mufflers and getting different tips. Any idea how much money I'm talking about to get these 2 things done?

Thanks.

Actually I only take my car to Mark @ Andy's Auto Performance in Monrovia (about 60 minutes from you)...he works on a ton of LS1 and LT1 stuff for all the socal guys....check the Western section of ls1.com and you'll see how many of the guys use him and love the work that he does...his prices are awseome and his quality of work is unbeatable..I don't trust anybody else with my car! Call and ask for Mark (626) 447-3707...

Just an fyi, anybody with a socket set can install a shifter. It's a piece of cake. And with that same socket set and a sawzall the cat back is equally as easy.
