what yr was LS6 intake standard on F's
The valve lift for the '98 - '00 cam is something like ~.499", vs the '01 - '02 cam is around .478 - .479" lift, but the duration and LSA's are different..........lift isn't the only thing that makes a cam
. The '01/'02 LS1 cam is supposed to be the same as the cam used in the 6.0L trucks!

So why the cam change and EGR provision change?
If u take the non factory LS6 intake car and add it yourself, will it make more power than the factory LS6 installed cars with the ones with the bigger cam?
Is it worth the effort to change on the older cars?

And yes it's worth it to change over on an older car. You can get one from SLP with the egr provivions.
