like the topic says... what would be the best mods for a 98-02 (perferably an 01 or 02) camaro ss? im planning on getting an ls1 camaro... i just wanna know what mods would work the best with it, for automatic and manual tranny. like... ok, i know i wanna put headers, exhaust, and all that good stuff, but i dunno what type would give me the best performance i can get. money's no issue here... i just wanna know what the best mods are to put on an ls1 camaro that'll turn that sucker into a bigger beast than it already is. lol. i wanna do some major engine work too to see how much more horse power i can pull from the ls1... maybe even putting some ls6 parts in the engine? any help or info would be freaking awesome thanks guys!

rookie in training, lol. everything is do-able... i may not be able to do the work, but i have friends that can help me with the mods and i can also have it profesionally done.

 

Exhaust and intake should be your first options, they offer the most horsepower for your money.

 

i know, but what im saying is like... ok, if im going to get headers, what type of headers should i get? what brand name do you suggest? cuz im not going to blow my money on piece of **** parts that don't do **** for my car. i wanna know what specific parts i should get.. like, something you know that gives the most hp and has the best quality and isn't a piece of crap. should i also put a better suspension on the ss or leave the suspension it comes with on it? cuz all im going to do is race it in the 1/4 mile. like, im asking for help trying to decide what type of parts i should get to modify my camaro, and i wanna make sure those are the best parts i can get my hands on for that particular mod. thanks guys, i really appreciate all this help!

gears (4.10)
pro 5.0 shifter
subframe connectors, especialy with a t top car and vert cars.
Long Tube headers

That should get you started
