What will I loose if I remove the ABS
I am not exactly for sure what the difference between an ABS car and non ABS car is. I think the ABS keeps the brakes from locking up if you have to slam on the brakes. Am I correct? The reason I am asking is because I found a 9 inch rearend that I want. Thanks.
abs just used the comp to VERY fast grim/un grip the wheel instead of just holding down, that makes it much harder to lock up the breaks and skid out...

When a wheel locks up it can not carry any lateral or longitudinal force. This means that you will not have directional control with locked up wheels.
ABS releases the brake on a wheel for a split second if the wheel locks up. Thus the wheel can build lateral forces again and you can control the direction, in other words the car will remain controllable.
ABS does this individually for each wheel, so the car remains controllable even if you brake as hard as you can.
