What springs to use with the LS6 cam?

Hey guys, what springs should I use with my LS6 cam? Can I reuse my stock rocker arms? And what kind of numbers should I be looking for after I'm done? (Also, do you think this can be done in a day?)

LS6 springs will work just fine with the LS6 cam.

Yes, you can use your stock rockers.

Look for a 20-30rwhp increase with nothing else done.

Yes, it can be done in a day. 4-8 hours if you're doing it for the first time.

The ls6 springs are all you need, you could go better, but there is no need. Yes your stock rocker arms can be used, you could ugrade them if you wanted to, this would be a good time, stock retainers, and everything else can be reused.

You'll probably see 15-20 rwhp. The people that are seeing 30 out of it already have headers and most of the time a LS6 intake. It'll all catch up in the long run though when you get headers.

In addition, the LS6 cam is more "plug and play" and won't require tuning to run good. While, you'll benefit more from the HOT cam with tuning, and you'll throw misfire codes due to the lope from the HOT cam if the PCM isn't taken care of.
