Question What size bullet?

I ordered my Dr. Gas 3" in x 3" out x-pipe kit today. I need to order my dynomax bullet mufflers now. I know I have to get the 3" in and out bullets, but should I get the 12" long or 18" long? Since it's true dual, would the 12" still be raspy, or just louder, cause if it'll just be louder without the rasp, i'll get that, otherwise if it'll be raspy, i'll get the 18". Thanx guys!

I dunno, I guess just go with the 18" like Dougie had. However, I know you want your car to be as loud as possible and honestly Doug's '95 was not that loud. At idle, his was louder than my '96 with Borla but at WOT...I guarantee mine was louder. We both had Hooker LTs and no cats.

The guy that did his exhaust and mine sells Dynomax mufflers/bullets so maybe he'll let you try the 18" and if you don't like it, then he'll sell you the 12". Doubtful but you never know.

Thanks man, if you say his exhaust was quiet with the 18", then maybe i'll go with the 12", cause I like loud!!!!!!!!! It's like music to my ears!!!!!!! That too is why i'm gonna put cutout's in front of mufflers for the track (and weekends )!!! I guess if the 12" are too raspy, i'll just have to deal with it, but i'm gonna ask around on a few other boards first and see if I get a response.

I had the 12" bullets at one time. They are loud though but it didn't matter to me.

So i'm gonna go with the 12's, now I just gotta get an answer to my question of where to place the cutouts!
