Whts up? I have a number of options on my plate. my first is to buy a turbo kit with all the supporting mods. my second option is to buy a forged kit for my LS1, a h/c package, gears, and a big shot of nitrous. My eventual goals are low10's high 9's I knw i could get that with the second option but that would be with spray. Does anyone know what i could run with just h/c conveter and gears? But with forced induction i could run 11's on a stock motor for now but eventually forge it then run high boost and get my goals but i would have the power all the time. I dont know what to do. I could get my car's goal now or get it fast now with f.i. then in a few years run my speed goals. Someone help me out i dont know what to do.Thanks.

pretty much all 224/224 cam + boltons, converter, 12 bolt 3.73 and tires will hit somewhere in the 11s... as long as your a decent driver
as for the FI all i can say is your going to need to go with something like the LQ9 heads so you can run a lower compression and have more boost to be able to hit that goal

thanks for the info. ya i kno i culd hit 11's with h/c conveter and gears then with notrous low10's or high9's but that wouldnot be on the street. i culd run 11's now with f.i. and later on the same as nitrous run but the power wuld be there all the time.

If you went with a good sized cam that's streetable (Look at Futral Motorsports line of cams) and a set of ported LS6 heads or the new Dart LS1 or AFR LS1 heads with a FAST 90/90 setup and dyno tune, you could probably go low 11s, high 10s on the stock bottom end with a 4400+ stall and a 3.90-4.10 gear running ET Streets.
