I think im going to go with the supermaxx dynatech headers, I here good things. Are they coated and how is the ground clerance on them? Is it worth just getting the off road pipe with it or the high flow cat and will it have a big difference in sound?

I think im gonna go with the supermaxx dynatech because i hear good things. Does anyone know if they are coated and how good the ground clerance is? How much louder would my car sound with no-cat compaired to the high flow car?

Waste of money.

$1500 for headers is ridiculous unless you're spending it on a Corvette.

The $399 Pacesetters will work just as good.

Mike, apples and oranges. The SuperMaxx system isn't just headers. So let's not make a direct comparison. Figure the price of Pacesetters and catted y plus all the install hardware. Not saying that the dynotech stuff isn't pricey, just saying apples to oranges.

For a budget Pacesetter is as Cheap as I would get, and make sure they are coated. I personally run Edelbrocks LT's, and if the choice was to be made again it would be the same. I have run Pacesetter's before as well, and the only thing that I really didn't like was the Y pipe design.

well im gettin the Pacesetters with a custom y-pipe with cats from Texas Speed so im not worried about the y-pipe, i want to stay legal and clean, why polute more than i have too, the cats now a days flow so good

i spent the money on the Cartek heads and Cam, if Pacesetters are good enough i dont care

Do the Dynatech headers come coated? I heard that uncoated headers will cause heat issues or is it different with stainless steel ones?
