what fuel additive do you put in a car that isn't driven much?
what fuel additive do you put in a car that isn't driven much?
Our 35th anni SS is only being driven once every 2 or 3 weeks for the last few months. In fact, it still has gas in it from June. What do I put in it so we don't have any problems in future years? I don't want the gas line or something getting clogged.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Fuel Stabiliser.... Sta-Bil... I believe.. You can get it at Napa. It keeps fuel fresh for easy starts.
Short story... I bought this stuff before my 8 month deployment, I forgot it when I brought the car to the storage yard. I never put it in and 8 months later, I returned home and the car fired right up..

Great thanks! According to their website, the product doesn't seem too good for us. However, their recommendation to use fuel injector cleaner probably is. I think we'll do just that.

Thank you very much Mysticteal!
Unfortunately, the Z28 is currently in the car hospital having surgery. It was hit in the side by a Jeep and is having a new door put on as well as the rear fender reformed.
