what does P0135 mean (autotap)

what does P0135 mean (autotap)

I had my car autotapped a couple days ago (thanks stik98) and the only code i had was P0135...what does this mean..is it the o2's ??

Check the wiring, make sure your getting a good feed.

Its means either your wires are fugged up on the front O2 on the drivers side or the O2 itself is bad. You may start getting some odd performance out of your car soon if you dont fix it.

Will a code like this throw a CE light?

Also, If the light isn't on could there still be codes stored in the computer that haven't tripped the light?

thanks alot.....i hope thats why my dyno is alittle low...and should this cost like $100 or so to fix? My car dies starting up sometimes..so i think this is the problem

Even if the SES light goes out the code is still stored.

If that. If you do the work yourself, and theres no reason not to, it will cost at the most $100 depending on if its the wires or the O2 itself. If you shop around you can find O2's for cheaper than $100. The wires will cost about $20 or so.
