Raughammer. He was one of the guys that always raised the bar on the other borad.. especially with the manual vs auto war..

Lid,100shot, nittos, cutout= low 12s/high 11s.. Since in an automatic, im in the process of deciding which converter to get, shoud put me into mid 11s hopefully... if a stall dosent put me into mid 11s and traction isnt the issue, im gonna run a larger shot.. If that dosent do it give up...

Supras prolly get more respect and they are rare, and the ones that do come out and hang aound in the hot rod crowd is fast as ****..... Supras get alot of respect becaus they are more rare i think... Eitherway, both are bad ***. im curious of how easy and costly it is to get supras to run low 12s or high 11s.... I am trying to set a race up with 2 supras now...

Its easy for us to run 12's.
Costs maybe $1000-$1500

Its called BPU (basic performance upgrade).
Exhaust, Downpipe, Boost Controller, Intake
Thats it.

the awesome thing is, it's good for
450-470 HP Guaranteed and
TONS of torque.

Supras SUCK at drag racing on the count of turbo lag, but
if you have a set of drags on a supra and launch hard
mid to low 12's is def. possible with
this minor investment.

YES they are rare and look great which is why i bought mine, but
the TT runs like a freakin' top with a little
investment of go fast goodies.

if youve never ridden in one, do it...
the kick of the 2nd turbo is an awesome feeling...

(but then again, so is the raw power of the LS1 off the line
and from a 60MPH punch )

both are sweet in my book.

That much power should put you in 11s easy, especially considering a Supra is lighter than an F-Body...

YES it should.

i know that 11's could be done with drags and a stall on autos...

if it wasnt for crappy 60 foot times

we'd do 11's more often

That's one of the wildest things about Supra's is watching their trap speeds along with their times

I mean you see supras pulling down 12 second timeslips with a 115 + Mph trap, that's nuts. I never totally understood the lag in the supra.
