yeah i searched but did not find what i was looking for. I helping a friend and he has no idea what cam he wants. He has the MT1 stage 2 heads, hooker headers, a lid, ls6 intake, also has some 1.65:1 roller rockers that are nsa. He has the T1 cam now but its just tooo small. He wants a cam that idles like my GM 847 in one of my LT1s and wants it to make good hp with those heads. What do you'll suggest?

 

We've got a few cams he might like. How much larger is he wanting to go? Are the heads milled? What size valves?

I'd suggest a F-13 or F-14 cam from Futral Motorsports. They are on top of the LS1 game right now. Don't believe me? Check out my sig.

 

why would you want to put a smaller rocker on your engine? ls1s come with 1.7 rockers. and most cams wont allow for larger due to ramp rates.

maybe look into the TSP torquer cam, 233/233 .589" lift....nice loud idle and good power.

but yeah the futral cams are making sick power, even with stock heads. but i've heard they are hell on springs.

 

oh my bad. they were 1.75:1, as you can tell i'm not an ls1 guy. I gave him futral's number and i think he will be going with them. thanks guys!!
