Weird one... oil leak... but not what you think

ok... not motor oil, not tranny... nothing in the front of the car... and not differential

about 1 foot towards the front of the car, and 1 foot in, from the rear-passenger wheel, theres a round, flat, black plastic cap. it plugs into the metal (almost unibody looking) sump-lookin thing underneith the car (its part of the undercarriage thats painted the same color as the car) and theres two caps... symetrical. one on the passenger side one on the driver side. there is a clear oil (about same consistancy as motor oil... but, its all but perfectly clear) leaking out of it... its around the cap... and looses a couple drops onto the ground everytime i park in my garage i notice it.

anyone have any idea what it is?
