might make a move soon to replace my ls1 if a friend of mine comes through with another engine, so i might sell mine soon. whats this actually worth? i know they are probably a dime a dozen at the junkyard but here goes;
stock lower end 44k on it, cam stays with it (2731 miles on it) (see sig) heads are coming off, stock ls1 intake, tb, injectors, etc.
i only put on ~4450 miles on the car myself, in that period, oil has been changed 3 times always using mobil-1 synthetic. the only possible issue i can think of is in the high rpm band only (5k) , others tell me i have slight amount of smoke coming from the exhaust. so i dont know if rings are worn, but i thought that would be constant thru all rpm bands i have never pushed the car past 5200 rpm's, ever. maybe hit that on the dyno, thats it.

 

I paid 1900 for a complete pullout with all accessories/ wiring/ computer/ exhaust manifolds and y pipe/ and fuel pump. It came out of a wrecked Z with 68K miles.

$900 sounds like a very reasonable price. If you look on ebay they can go for more than double that.
